The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office “dry stick” treatment is not cleaning up the arm prior to a blood draw to conserve 90 seconds and beat the 2 hour time frame therefore needing a single blood sample rather of a series of 3 draws timed 30 minutes apart. The “dry stick” treatment is exceptionally harmful and prohibited under any situations.
