In HCC’s Phlebotomy for the Health Care Worker program, trainees are geared up with the basic abilities required to work as a phlebotomist. The courses consist of subjects such as medical principles, medical terms, anatomy and physiology of the circulatory system, interaction, record keeping, specimen collection, chain of custody, lab security, and quality assurance. Trainees effectively finishing all course requirements are licensed in Phlebotomy for the Health Care Worker, and are qualified to sit for nationwide accreditation.
