Sling Blade, winner of the 1996 Academy Award for finest movie script, is the effective story of Karl, who goes back to his home town after serving 25 years in a psychological health center for dedicating a gruesome criminal offense.
There he befriends a young kid and establishes a close relationship with the kid and his widowed mom. These relationships progress rapidly and, eventually, Karl’s sensations for the mom and child lead him to a generous act.
