ot long back, it was difficult to get a vaccine. The shots remained in brief supply and scheduled for the most susceptible populations. Not long prior to that, vaccines weren’t readily available at all, and one COVID wave after another was eliminating numerous countless Americans.
I supported the preliminary lockdowns, hoping they would purchase us time to discover other methods to keep the infection at bay. I then continued to support lighter, more-targeted constraints later on in the pandemic.
