ABOUT THE BOOK Occur To My Mind is a collection of poems through which the author looks for to hold a thinking with you, the reader. Williams shares his ideas about life and living in a way that is simple, generous and honest. The range of topics that he broaches is diverse; nature, life, humour, love are a couple of and the pieces are captivating from start to complete. The use of literary gadgets is rather effective as they creatively reveal what is on his mind. The simple design but deep message that each poem communicates, work well, as they do not lend themselves to over-interpretation. Part One, entitled, Ideas of Power, helps you declare your purpose for living. Sequel, called Perspectives, is quite thought-provoking with a smart play on words which stimulates you to obtain an understanding based on your own point of view on the subject( s). This section consists of Dawn On My Mind, the must-read title poem. Truth be told, the concepts, Williams confesses, are not brand-new however they are cleverly expressed and will make you go, wow!
