Simply a single dosage of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine was shown to be 80 percent reliable in avoiding COVID-19 in a brand-new CDC study.

The high level of security happens within the first two weeks after receiving part among the two-dose program, researchers stated.

The current study analyzed front-line health care workers, first responders and other vital employees in eight US cities between Dec. 14 and March 13.

While there was an 80 percent defense rate with one dosage, that figure leapt to 90 percent in the very first two weeks after the second injection, researchers said.
