How much blood can a human donate in a day?

Most blood donation is a flat amount, but can be modified based on the persons weight and blood volume. Technically you would be able to donate more blood than what they draw, but drawing beyond a certain point can produce complications to the donor. Blood donations shouldn’t be done more than once a month (it takes 4-6 weeks to recover the blood cells lost, though the plasma volume is quickly replenished, too much blood loss will make you anemic).
