Here's How Foreigners Can Reserve Their COVID Vaccine in Shanghai

Beginning Monday, March 29, immigrants in Shanghai will have the ability to schedule a consultation for domestically-produced COVID-19 vaccines.

The suspended China-produced vaccine will be provided in two dosages. Those who are not guaranteed will need to pay RMB100 per dosage.

Shanghai Foreign Affairs WeChat reports:

Prior to shot, you will be required to sign a letter of notified consent, disclaimer and other documents according to the given procedures. You need to also ensure your individual defense and advise your health status truthfully to the on-site doctor so that they will decide if you are suitable for shot or not. You should likewise pay close attention to your health status within 14 days of shot and go to health center without delay for medical advice in case of any adverse response.

To book a vaccination appointment, head to the Jiankang Yun (Health Cloud) app, or scan the QR code below (as of publication time, the service isn’t live rather yet, however you can sign up now and be prepared for when it is).

After you fill in your information you will receive a text verifying the date, time and area for vaccination. Remember to bring a type of ID (passport, Foreign Permanent Citizen ID Card or legitimate permit of stay or residence) to the consultation.
