Steve Harvey is giving his take on the demonstrations versus racial justice and police brutality in the middle of among the worst pandemics in American history.
PEOPLE provided a very first take a look at Wednesday’s (January 20) episode of STEVE on Watch The host shared the lessons he taught his own children about cops brutality, particularly pointing out Ahmaud Arbery and George Floyd
” In light of what’s happened with Floyd and Arbery, and since of COVID, I believe for the very first time, the world was sitting still,” he said. “No one was on spring break, nobody was at happy hour, no one was at work, nobody was on trip and the world was frozen.”

He continued: “They actually saw it over and over and over, what it appears like and what in fact occurs to a lot of people, and I think for the very first time ever, non-African Americans– more so than I’ve ever seen previously– have taken part to object and be outraged of what’s happening to individuals of color.”
Harvey described what he considered the “upside” in the continuous battle to dismantle racism.
” I think that has actually been the thing that we have actually required for a long time,” he states.
He included: “We now have actually discovered that the world has a lot of allies. There’s still bad individuals out there, but it’s a great deal of truly excellent people out there who, once they are truly aware and looking at the scenario, can see the oppression as it unfolds.”
