Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is needed; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited firm is a plus
  • Previous experience as a phlebotomist; 4 years is chosen
  • Prior manager experience strongly chosen
  • Demonstrated management skills and the capability to lead others
  • Ability to effectively manage time and focus on tasks
  • Excellent spoken and written interaction abilities
  • Valid motorist’s license and good driving record
  • Working understanding of MS Office

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a group ofphlebotomists working in Patient Service Centers and/or physician’s offices
  • Manage client circulation, wait times, and stock levels and details logs
  • Monitor monthly productivity and report any variances as necessary
  • Coordinate phlebotomists’ schedules through resourceful and imaginative thinking
  • Perform operational tasks such as payroll, month-to-month schedules and efficiency appraisals
  • Partner with Person Resources regarding staff member relations concerns and disciplinary actions
  • Employ and train phlebotomists to fill any open positions
  • Communicate successfully to internal and external clients consisting of clients, client workplace personnel, sales team, logistics and senior management
  • Provide exceptional consumer service to all clients and clients
  • Help in the set-up of brand-new Client Service Centers or Client Offices
  • Supply resolution of any client or client issues
  • Perform, collect and prepare specimens when required
  • Travel to extra websites as necessary
