We Are Hiring

We are hiring a Phlebotomy Service technician to operate in our Laboratory at Providence Healthcare Facility in Mobile, Alabama.

Arrange:

  • Full Time-Night Shift

What You Will Do

Collect and procedure blood specimens for screening and perform numerous clerical and processing functions.

  • May draw and collect blood samples according to policy.
  • Receive, centrifuge, accession, procedure and transport specimens.
  • Confirm all associated records.
  • Work pending lists, order add-on tests, and fix replicate orders.
  • Establish instruments.
  • Maintain, tidy, and decontaminate equipment and workspace following security, cleanliness, and infection control procedures.
  • Perform clerical tasks which might consist of answering phones, evaluating EKGs, gathering patient market information for patient registration, buying tests, ABNs, data entry and filing.

What You Will Need

Licensure/ Accreditation/ Registration:

  • BLS Supplier credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
  • Phlebotomy Tech credentialed from the National Health care Association preferred.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED needed.
