In this interview we introduce Pete Barroso a phlebotomist working in Santa Cruz, California. As a hospital phlebotomist Pete has the opportunity to draw patients, handle microbiology specimens, and serve as part of the trauma team in the emergency department. Prior to becoming a phlebotomist, Pete served as an Emergency Medical Technician in San Francisco, CA. To this day Pete is still using his EMT skills to saves lives and spring into action when a patient needs him most.
