A California hospital is dealing with a possible $43,000 fine from county health officials for supposed hold-ups in reporting a Covid-19 super-spreader occasion linked to an inflatable Christmas tree costume
Healthcare huge Kaiser Permanente on Tuesday denied any delay in reporting the Covid-19 cases linked to a Christmas celebration at its San Jose Medical Center’s emergency situation department.

Previously this month, Kaiser Permanente stated the inflatable Christmas tree outfit– while still not definitively linked to the outbreak, county health authorities clarified– was an innocent gesture that “only looked for to raise the spirits of those around them throughout what is an extremely difficult time.”
The company said they are reviewing the Santa Clara County citation and will react before the deadline on Friday.
