Three New York parties were ended by police on Thursday night.

As of Friday, there have been over 83 million COVID cases throughout the world, according to Johns Hopkins University’s tracker, with the U.S. accounting for 25 percent of them when it exceeded the 20 million mark. Authorities cautioned of a spike in coronavirus cases after the holiday celebrations from December up until January 1.
