UK to bring in brand-new higher tier of COVID limitations for London, southeast England -BBC

LONDON (Reuters) – The British government is set to bring in a new higher tier of COVID-19 limitations and put London and southeast England into those steps, the BBC reported on Saturday.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson earlier discussed tightening limitations with senior ministers after it was validated that there was a brand-new stress of the infection which might spread quicker.
