STRONG INTERNAL PROSPECT IDENTIFIED

Assists in the performance of the phlebotomy and laboratory specimen locations and the training of laboratory personnel. The core duties of a team lead include work of the exact same of comparable nature of colleagues.

This is a full-time, 40- hour weekly position working from 9: 30 am-6pm in the Concord Neighborhood Group Practice.

Obligations: a listing of the key responsibilities: Coordinates workflow and work concern within the group.

  • Offer technical guidance, oversight and mentoring to employee.
  • Supply on-the-job training, where required and identify training opportunities.
  • Offer input to management relating to efficiency and/or need for disciplinary action.
  • Acts as intermediary with other areas throughout the company and affiliations to preserve basic procedures for laboratory specimens and phlebotomy treatments.
  • Advices and helps the departmental manager in procedural, logistical, fiscal planning, and administrative matters.
  • Encourages and assists the departmental supervisor with present treatment handbooks for laboratories in the phlebotomy area.
  • Helps with screening and evaluation of products, equipment and materials.
  • Advises the manager on the status, preparation, upkeep, evaluation, and revision of procedural handbooks.
  • Performs and helps with procedure enhancement projects with the manager.
  • Functions as a resource and supplies leadership for fixing, devices maintenance, training requirements, and new workflow advancement.
  • Carries out computer system “down-time” procedures.
  • Functions with the various lab websites to follow lab specimen and Phlebotomy requirements and standardize processes.
  • Recommends changes to management in fruit and vegetables or products which improve sectional procedure in the phlebotomy area.
  • Recognizes problems and makes decisions to solve problems. Keeps the supervisor and management group informed.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Minimum Certifications:

  • High school graduate with 10 years of phlebotomy experience in a senior, lead, or supervisory role, or the equivalent in education and experience, required.
  • Capability to arrange time and prioritize tasks required.
  • Ability to preserve an appropriate level of efficiency required.

Needed Licensure/Certification Abilities:

  • Accreditation as a Phlebotomy Technician – PBT (ASCP) Board of Certification, or a comparable needed.
  • BLS accreditation required.
