'I'm getting stronger every day': Jeremih launched from medical facility after Covid battle

R&B vocalist Jeremih is recuperating in the house weeks after he was hospitalized with a severe case of Covid-19, his family stated in a statement on Saturday.

The 33- year-old artist, whose real name is Jeremy Felton, was placed on a ventilator in the intensive care unit last month at Northwestern Memorial Health Center in Chicago. His representative said at the time that his condition was “uncommon for a young man his age without underlying conditions.”

” Everybody identified with Covid-19 is affected in a different way. Unfortunately for Jeremih, Covid-19 viciously assaulted his body,” the representative said.

Fellow artists, consisting of rapper 50 Cent and Possibility The Rap artist, posted public pleas requesting prayers for the singer.

In the declaration launched Saturday and acquired by NBC News, Felton thanked the medical professionals and nurses “for conserving my life.”

” I will be forever grateful. I would also like to thank my friends and family for all their prayers and well dreams. I’m overwhelmed with thankfulness,” he stated, providing a “special thanks” to Chance The Rap Artist, 50 Cent and Diddy.

” I would likewise like to thank all my fans and people around the globe who wished me. I’m getting stronger every day, and eagerly anticipate spending time with my kids,” he stated.

Opportunity The Rap artist celebrated Felton’s recovery in a series of tweets on Thursday.

” I am filled with appreciation right now I just heard my brother Jeremih’s voice on the phone for the very first time in practically a month he will be out the health center tomorrow we give all glory to the dad in Jesus name,” he tweeted in all uppercase.

Felton signed with Def Jam in 2009 and has released four studio albums, consisting of one with vocalist Ty Dolla $ign, and taped several chart-topping hits.
