Trump legal representative Rudy Giuliani's son Andrew tests positive for Covid after participating in press conference

Andrew Giuliani, a special assistant to President Donald Trump and the son of Trump project attorney Rudy Giuliani, said he checked positive for coronavirus Friday, a day after going to a congested interview where his dad and other campaign lawyers did not wear masks.

” I am experiencing moderate signs, and am following all appropriate procedures, consisting of remaining in quarantine and carrying out contact tracing,” the younger Giuliani stated in a tweet disclosing his Covid-19 positive test.

Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis, another top legal representative on the Trump campaign team, both tested negative for the coronavirus, Ellis stated in a tweet posted later on Friday.

” The entire legal team will continue to follow the advice and procedures of our doctors,” Ellis wrote.

Andrew Giuliani works as a sports liaison at the White Home, with a yearly salary of $95,000, according to government documents.

His Twitter profile says he is “Currently serving the American public as Special Assistant to President Donald J. Trump till January 20, 2025.”

Later Friday, NBC News reported that 3 low-level White House staffers also checked favorable for coronavirus in recent days.
