We make every effort to give trainees a strong foundation in the concepts of phlebotomy and prepare trainees to successfully pass a National Phlebotomy Accreditation Assessment through:
60 hours of classroom instruction
40 hours of externship:
Trainees are scheduled Monday-Friday for an 8 hour workday. Throughout this time students need to complete a minimum of 50 successful venipunctures, with a stretch objective of 100 or more.
This program is developed to be completed in approx 9 – 12 months
Tuition – Supported by AEBG Funds – No Cost
( consists of books, laboratory material expenses, liability insurance and needed background check for externship).
